Celebrating Jubilee Sisters

Each year on January 1, our community joyfully announces the names of the sisters who will celebrate their jubilee in the coming year. These jubilees mark significant milestones in religious life, including 25, 50, 60, 70, and even 75 years of faithful commitment.

A jubilee year is a special time of gratitude and celebration, both for the sisters and for our entire community. It is an opportunity to honor the many years they have dedicated to prayer, service, and living out their vocation.

The count of these years begins with a sister’s temporary profession, marking the formal start of her journey in religious life. From that moment on, each year reflects a deepening commitment to God and to the mission of the community.

To help make this milestone even more meaningful, each jubilarian is given an additional week of vacation during her jubilee year—a time set aside for rest, reflection, and celebration.

As we announce and celebrate these jubilees, we give thanks for the witness of our sisters and the many ways their lives continue to inspire others.
