Weekend Activities

Ever wonder what sisters do on weekends? One thing that many of us like to do is watch a good football game. During the fall season, you can go into any community room and find a game playing on television. We don’t all cheer for the same team though as a lot of sisters cheer for their hometown teams. Like Sisters Paula and Celeste who are from Minnesota and cheer for the Vikings, while New York native Sister Karen is a Buffalo Bills fan. I am an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. It is always more fun to watch a game with others, and even more fun when we are cheering for opposing teams. 

Going to high school games are also part of some of our weekend fun. Some sisters attend games their nieces and nephews play in, or go to games at schools they taught at or attended. If we don’t attend, we listen to the games on the radio. Conversations at the table also revolve around the games.
