Interacting with Students

Recently, we had some seventh graders visit the Monastery. They were learning about the gifts that they brought to the church and to the world. I witnessed this transaction between Sister Ann Marie and a student. It was so heartwarming to see and showed me the tender compassion that Sister Ann Marie has with students. (Once a teacher, always a teacher.) She didn’t know this boy at all and had just met him at lunch. The attentiveness and listening she gave him was admirable. Seeing my sisters interact with others shows me the way our life can be shown.
