Choosing a Life with God

“It is our daily call to holiness to begin our days in prayer and by offering them to God. When we choose God, we are choosing the way of life, love, and joy.” Steve Givens

To me, this quote sums up my life as a religious sister. I feel that living this life brings me joy and love. I don’t want you to think that it is always easy. It has hard days, but aren’t there other times in life that also have hard days? Being with God at the beginning of the day in my personal prayer and then in communal prayer is what allows me to continue to say yes to my holiness in this way of life.
