Welcome to the Vocations Blog.

Welcome to a new blog. I’m Sr. Jill Marie Reuber, the vocation director for the Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand, Indiana.  I decided to write a blog as a way to help explain who we are.  I hope that these posts will help you see that we’re ordinary women living in a counter-cultural life seeking God. 

If you’re a young woman discerning your vocation — or maybe you don’t even know that – I hope this blog will be a help.  I hope to show that our Benedictine life is a viable choice.  I’ll be posting each Thursday on a different topic, from our vows to just regular daily life.  Let me know if you have any specific topics that you would like to read about.
