Historic Walls, Modern Purpose
Restoring the Quadrangle and Church Towers
For over 150 years, the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, IN, have been a beacon of spiritual light, opening their doors to those seeking guidance, community, and sacred space. The historic walls of their Monastery Immaculate Conception have witnessed generations of Benedictine sisters living out their calling to a life of prayer and service.
Today, to continue this legacy of ministry, the unrenovated sections of the original monastery quadrangle and church towers require critical updates. These spaces will be transformed for the sisters’ public-facing ministries, allowing them to host more spiritual programs, community gatherings, and outreach initiatives that spread the Gospel.
The planned renovations will blend reverence for monastic tradition with modern updates.
