Sister Rebecca Abel to speak at Reitz Home Museum on August 23.

Step back in time and learn about the Reitz Home’s years as the Bishop’s House, home to Bishop Grimmelsman from 1944-1972. In the summer of 1964, our very own Sister Rebecca Abel spent several weeks helping Sister Theophane, the Bishop’s housekeeper, while her companion sisters were on retreat and vacation. You can hear her speak about her experience at a special presentation at Reitz Home Museum in Evansville, Indiana, on Saturday, August 23 at 4:00 p.m. CT. A $10 food and drink reception in the home will follow (free to members of Reitz Home Museum).
