Sister Katie & the Violin

Sister Katie Cummings has been playing the violin for nearly her entire life, and she plays with remarkable beauty and skill. She generously shares this gift within our community, enriching our liturgies with music that lifts hearts in prayer.

In addition to serving our community, Sister Katie has had the opportunity to perform with the Louisville Philharmonia—a completely musician-run orchestra. Some of us were blessed to attend their Christmas concert and witness her talent in a new setting. It was a joy to see the smile on Sister Katie’s face as she made music—her passion and gratitude shining through every note.
