School Trips
In December, we welcomed numerous school groups from the local Ferdinand area to the monastery. Some groups visited for a full day, while others came for an hour tour.

Many young people have limited opportunities to interact with religious sisters, making these visits an excellent chance to introduce them to our community. It is important to demonstrate that we are approachable and relatable individuals, as many young people hold the misconception that all sisters are old and wear habits. This experience provides them with a deeper understanding of our identity as religious sisters.
During their visits, I like to organize fun activities such as scavenger hunts. Additionally, I provide teachers with vocation information and treats to further educate their students about vocations within the Catholic Church.
