A Monastery Full of Surprises

There is a lot of construction happening around the monastery right now, and every time I come home, I never quite know what I’m going to find. Hallways and familiar pathways are often closed off, which means I’m constantly learning new routes just to get from place to place.

One day, I came home and a discovered the object pictured here. I asked everyone I could, but no one seemed to know what it was for. It certainly made me stop and wonder.
