July Community Meetings

The next few posts will be about our July Community Meetings. Stay tuned to learn more about our life as Ferdinand Benedictines.

At the end of July, we have a few days of meetings. At our meetings, we sit at a table of 5 to 6 sisters that we call “stable tables.”  We sit at these tables with these same Sisters until July of next year. This helps us become comfortable, share, and be vulnerable with these Sisters. 

At the beginning of the meetings, we choose someone to be a facilitator and talk about what the needs are. The Sisters at the table are of all ages, where everyone has a voice and is heard. Benedict calls us to listen to all.
