Gathering with Family
With Thanksgiving being this week, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a member of my family. This photo features my mother and my older sister. My sister was twelve years old when I was born and later married while I was in the second grade. She is now the proud mother of two daughters and has four grandchildren. My sister is very helpful in supporting our parents; she often prepares meals for them and assists with maintaining their household, which I greatly appreciate.
Additionally, she possesses remarkable musical talent, excelling at both the organ and piano. Her natural ability to hear a song and replicate it with ease is truly impressive.
This photograph was taken during the celebration of her birthday. My brother and sister share a playful dynamic where they often tease each other, as evidenced by my brother reversing the numbers for her birthday. Our family gatherings are typically filled with laughter and joy.
