Feeling Troubled in a Troubled World

The Sisters of St. Benedict invite the public to join them in prayer at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, IN. This gathering will be free and open to the public.

Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. EST
St. Gertrude Hall in the Hospitality Center

Prayer helps us feel less troubled and more peaceful. It can help us recenter ourselves, and not only petition God’s help, but also allows us to focus on tangible ways in which we too can alleviate the suffering of others. All who feel troubled are invited to join together for this evening of prayer and reflection. Together, may we be a light for the world and a witness of peace in the midst of harm.

Through this prayer gathering, the Sisters of St. Benedict will be joining with other religious communities in the United States for The 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting and Advocacy initiative of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.
