Familien Fest

At the end of our July Community meetings, we have an afternoon of fun and leisure. We call this “Familien Fest.”  Each year, a different group of Sisters plan and lead some activities. 

This year, the group planned an “Amazing Race.”  We formed groups of 4 to 5 composed of Sisters of all ages and traveled around the monastery, completing tasks and receiving clues to where our next task is. The race ended with a tie and a rock, paper, scissors dual. The afternoon concluded with snacks and conversation. The great thing about this time together is that we are all having fun, the wisdom figures and the young.
