Catch up with the latest from the Sisters in the Fall 2026 issue of “Seek. Pray. Share.”

There’s something about fall that seems made for a good story. And the new fall issue of Seek Pray Share, has plenty of them.

You’ll get to know Sister Rebecca Ann Mathauer, or Sister Becky, who came to Ferdinand nearly 30 years ago as a 19-year-old college student trying to figure out where God might be leading her. She knew almost immediately that she had found home. What she couldn’t have known was how many unexpected gifts she would discover along the way, including a love for teaching that would shape more than two decades of ministry. Today, she’s discovering still more gifts in her work with our Oblates and our Mission Advancement team.

You’ll travel all the way to Peru with members of the Women of the Rule, who visited Monasterio Paz de la Cruz, our dependent monastery in Morropón. And you’ll see what happened when they returned to Ferdinand for their annual awards luncheon. This remarkable group provided more than $185,000 in funding during 2026 for projects ranging from ministry to women who are incarcerated and monastery walking paths to retreat scholarships and repairs to our beloved Grotto.

You’ll also learn about a new mobile food pantry created in partnership with Tri-State Food Bank to help local families facing hunger, and celebrate Sister Karen Sue Durliat’s Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years since her monastic profession.

There’s much more waiting for you in this issue, including our remembrance of three beloved Sisters whose earthly journeys have come to an end.
