Classmates

Did you know that sisters have classmates? Classmates are sisters who have entered the community together in the same year and they celebrate jubilees together.

During the first stages of becoming a sister, they take classes together and have some cleaning jobs together. The three sisters photographed below entered together and have celebrated more than 50 years in the community. Here they are celebrating each other’s birthdays with Frostys from Wendy’s. 

You will find that ice cream is a popular snack and dessert for many sisters as we have ice cream every Sunday evening. It’s a tradition with a little “t.”
