Strengthening Our Monastic Community
Renewing St. Benedict Hall
The steady rhythm of prayer and community life has echoed through the hallways of St. Benedict Hall for nearly a century. This is the primary home of the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, IN, where there is space for 85 members of all generations to live out the Benedictine values of prayer, work, hospitality, and community life.
Constructed in in 1936, St. Benedict Hall was last updated in 1995. Now it’s time for a modernization of the mechanicals, fixtures, and finishes in this treasured home. Three of the six floors of the sisters’ living quarters await much needed updates to ensure a quality of life that allows them to focus wholly on their spiritual callings.
This renewal of St. Benedict Hall will ensure a comfortable home for current and future sisters serving in ministry at the monastery and surrounding community.
