Here are the final 5 attitudes to help in your discernment process.
- Be a lion with the heart of a lamb. “God’s grace shapes the contours of their courage and bravery.” Discernment is not always easy.
- Adopt the turtle as your mascot. “Just as a turtle retreats into its shell, so we need to go within to ponder, consider, and contemplate options and possibilities.”
- Be aware of your desires; don’t beware them.
- Walk the tightrope between the head and the heart. A balance of thinking and feelings is needed.
- Make it a family affair. Discernment is not a solitary affair and also includes the Holy Spirit.
