Friendships Outside Community

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit and spend some time with two friends of mine who live in Minnesota. We mostly stay connected through text messages, phone calls, and Facebook.

As sisters, we commit to a vow of chaste celibacy, but we also need intimate relationships both within our community and with people outside of it. Some of these connections might have been formed before we joined the community, while others developed after we entered. I met these two amazing women around five years ago.
