Friendships in Community

Do you ever wonder if sisters can have friends in a community? Yes, we do have them. We bring along the friendships we have before entering — sometimes this is can be hard with long distances, but we stay connected through phone calls, emails, and social media — and we continue to form new friendships in the community as well. 

After we enter, over time we’ll try out different activities with many people. This allows us to see what activities we might enjoy or who we might enjoy doing them with. Having different age groups in community is never a problem as everyone is able to grow and learn from different generations’ sharing their own life experiences.

We also form new, important friendships outside of the community with people we meet through our ministries and others.
