Our community is blessed with many Sisters who have a gift for creating art. And one of our most prolific and popular artists is the lively, lovely Sister Mary Lee Hillenbrand, whose luminous watercolors bring landscapes to light. Sister Mary Lee entered Monastery Immaculate Conception from Evansville, Indiana in 1958 and made her vows in 1960. And from her educational background, you’d never guess she had a passion for art. Like many of our Sisters, her training focused on helping others, with an emphasis on healthcare and education.
