The Sisters of St. Benedict are looking for applicants to join their Kitchen Staff as full-time meal prep and dishwasher.  Prepare flavorful meals for the Sisters every day in our state-of-the-art kitchen at the gorgeous monastery in Ferdinand and get great benefits as a full-time employee.  Medical insurance.  Dental.  Vision.  Short term and long term disability.  You even start earning paid time off right away.

The ideal person for this job will be super-organized making magic every day with carefully-followed menus an eye on that pantry so it’s well-stocked and a real thing for sanitary working conditions.  

Above all you need a passion for prep cooking and baking.  To succeed you’ll need to be that person who makes sure everything you serve the Sisters is prepared to perfection and looks tastes and smells amazing.

Of course there are some basics.  Good English and math skills mean a lot in the kitchen so bring those with you — those percentages and ratios matter in recipes!  Being someone who’s good at learning new equipment is also awesome.  Can you work — and think — on your feet?  Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds?  Then you’d be amazing at this.
